Creating Brand Experiences; Nigerian Brand Doing Well
A cursory look at a Nigerian brand great creating experiences for its consumers
Because Brand experiences mean the entire encounter which consumers get from their interaction with the brand or business. The experience can be physical or digital, the most important part is that they come in contact with the brand’s product or service and the impression they take from this is quite critical.
Brand experience is the sum of all the sensations, thoughts, feelings, and reactions that individuals have in response to a brand. Brand experience is not specific to a channel or media type
A brand that creates great brand experiences in Nigeria has to be SPUR. This brand positions itself as a family restaurant and from the moment you enter the restaurant, you would find two waiters who walk o up to you, asking for how many tables you would require to sit at the restaurant, you would then be walked down to the table while your order is taken.
PS; from next Sunday, I’ll publish an article every Sunday and I would need all the encouragement possible. I already have 33 subscribers, if I get 50 more this week, I’ll be encouraged. Share this story first of all to get others to read this as well.
Another part of the experience they create is in their food and menu options, because they position themselves as a family restaurant, you would find that the brand creates a menu that fits well for families, also I find it spectacular how people rave over their milkshakes - which is targeted at children.
“A family restaurant creating amazing milkshake sis definitely getting children to come back to the place for more”.
Digitally though, the brand has quite a terrible experience as its website would not even work. I haven’t also ordered anything from Spur which may mean that they aren’t taking their digital experience up but the walk-in experience of this family restaurant is really amazing and top-notch. Interestingly the quality hasn’t dipped since the first time I entered their restaurant in Nigeria as well.
Till next Sunday :-)
